The guardian jonquiérois William Blackburn will defend the colors of team Québec at the Canada Games, in Red Deer, Alberta, next month. The door-colours of the Elites de Jonquière is part of the 20 players selected after an evaluation process of more than two years.
A sign that things are going well for him, William Blackburn had been a part of during the Holiday season to the final camp organized by Hockey Quebec, in collaboration with the Central support of the recruitment of the League the Quebec major junior hockey (QMJHL), led by the Chicoutimien Carl Bouchard. William Blackburn do will miss no games of the Elites to participate in the Canada Games. The tournament, which will begin on 16 February, will take place during a break of the hostilities in the midget AAA between the end of the regular season and the playoffs. Before flying to Alberta, members of the provincial training, led by Martin Laperrière of the Ramparts of Quebec, will take part in a last preseason.
