The year 2018 will have been busy on the scene criminal investigation of crimes with extreme violence. Five murder cases and a history of foreskin pierced has caught the attention.

Blows of the knife

The Chicoutimien Luc Hamel pleaded guilty in may 2018, with the second degree murder of Sandra Fortin, which occurred on march 16, 2016, in Jonquière. Accused of murder to 20 years

September 28, Karl-Emmanuel Villeneuve, an individual of 20 years of Chicoutimi, has been charged with murder in the first degree of Alexandre Larouche. The latter has been murdered in a residence of the street Johanna, Chicoutimi-Nord, a discharge of a gun, on 29 July. But his body was not discovered until the 1st of August.

Villeneuve was first declared unfit to appear before the physicians do not consider themselves able to face justice.

Other cases of homicide

On the other hand, the June 22, Alexandre Gendron was convicted of murder in the second degree of the Félicinoise Cheryl Bau-Tremblay. The victim was five months pregnant.

She killed her father Alfred, who had spent his life in the fight. The Court of appeal stated that the trial judge had omitted the link between the factors of historical, systemic, and moral culpability of the accused. It was in a difficult situation.

In addition, Gérald Patoine died in custody as a result of an incurable illness, on the 26th of January. Patoine had taken his own life, in 2004, Daniel Lemieux, pressing 55 blows of a knife. He had then strangled to death his ex-spouse Karine Gaudreault. He had presented himself at the courthouse to meet his lawyer, mr. Charles Cantin.

And the Sûreté du Québec has revived the investigation into the murder of Guylaine Potvin, who was murdered on April 28, 2000. The police have received new information.

Foreskin pierced

Even if there was no death of humans, some individuals are not gone dead hand, to brutalize their victim.

Jonathan Ouellet has marked the imagination of many readers after being handed a sentence of nine years in the penitentiary, in addition to being declared a long term offender for 10 years, having pierced the foreskin of his victim.

Ouellet has used a hunting knife to pass the act, because the victim had dared to sleep with his ex-girlfriend, that Ouellet had left it.

Meanwhile, Anne Pearson has been sentenced to four years in penitentiary for having shot the pistol in the face of a woman that she had kidnapped in a case of narcotics.

Finally, the French national Mathieu Parent-Soares has been convicted on an arson causing death and was sentenced to seven years in penitentiary. Upon his release from detention, it will be returned in France.
