A serious accident involving two vehicles has three injured, one serious, early Saturday evening, near the corner of the boulevards of the Saguenay and René-Lévesque, Jonquière.
For an unknown reason, the vehicle that was travelling westbound veered off to the left, causing a collision with a car that was coming in the opposite direction. The police received the call at 18: 37 and the jaws of life were needed to extricate himself from a lady of 49 years of the passenger compartment.
Lieutenant Marc Simard, of the police Service of Saguenay, has informed that by the end of Saturday evening, the state of the woman was serious, but his life was not in danger. The collision would cause more damage, but the two vehicles did not hit, touching especially around the wings.
Three ambulances were dispatched on site, but the injuries of the other occupants were less important than that of the forties.
In total, the three occupants were on board a vehicle. The lieutenant Simard could not explain the exact causes of the accident.
