The members of the option the outdoor Pavillon Wilbrod-Dufour (PWE) of Alma are organizing a first fundraising activity in the form of obstacle course, which will take place on 23 February next. The event aims to raise$ 10,000 for the purchase of paddleboards, which will be made available to the population almatoise the next summer.
While obstacle courses are increasingly popular with athletes, the option outdoors of the PWE has decided to join the useful with the pleasant by proposing a course of 2.5 miles and 25 obstacles, February 23, from 8: 30 am.
The organization aims to attract 25 teams of 12 people, 25 teams of 5 people and 100 runners taking on the course.
This new fundraising activity is held in the margins of the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, and aims to buy a couple of boards to paddle that will be available to the population, just like the fat bikes and cross-country skis at the club Dorval to Alma.
The price for a team of 4 to 5 people is$ 100,$ 200 for 6 to 12 people and$ 30 for a single person.
