A documentary featuring the group Orloge Simard see the light of day in the summer of 2019 and promises to unveil the behind-the-scenes of the universe pretty crazy training from The Bay.
Filmed between the summers of 2017 and 2018 by two directors of the Montreal suburb of become fans of the band, this documentary called “aucuncadriste” and who should be called Saguenay free show Orloge Simard in his state, the more crude, warns the singer and personnificateur of Orloge Simard, Olivier Simard.
“For a year and a half, they followed us regularly, especially in Sept-Îles, Montreal, Quebec, and here, in the Saguenay. They became buddies at the same time. They collected images in the background of our shows. We are going to see really an incursion into our way of life, with the low and the high. The interactions with the public are also interesting. The fans will love to see it because it does not present this kind of images often, ” says the singer.
Directors Carl-Étienne Lalonde and Justin Allard participated in the training after the launch of the album Beuvez tousjours, die never, the start-up to their passages in some of the biggest festivals in Quebec, including the Quebec summer Festival and the Francofolies de Montréal.
Of the forty hours of images collected, there still remains much to be cut off before being able to arrive at the final product.
“We have seen a preliminary version of two or three hours, but [the producers] really do need to cut and cut to get something that is between one and two hours maximum,” indicates Olivier Simard.
The spreading of the documentary is not yet cast in concrete, but the group ensures that fans will be able to at least view it via social media next summer.
In addition to the exclusive images, we also have the right to a few pieces of interviews, previously unpublished with the inimitable character that is Orloge Simard.
“There is no fixed date for the release yet. The public will be kept informed on how it’s going to be released, but people will be able to see him this summer and the producers are considering to send it in festivals, ” says the singer of the training that exists since 2012.
